Hi there! I have received a couple of questions like this, so I hope you don’t mind if I post it publicly. Art of Disney encompasses all of the fine art that Disney produces. At the parks in particular, this is designated with an emblem “Art of Disney Parks”. Art of Disney in Downtown Disney Florida is similar to that of the art section in World of Disney in Downtown Disney Anaheim.. it displays art that is available for purchase through many channels, on the cruise line, online, on demand, etc. This is also similar to some in park art locations (Disneyana, Art of Animation, the Main Street Art Gallery, etc).

WonderGround delivers unique Disney art that is exclusive to WonderGround. Many of the artists that are present in WonderGround are just making their Disney debut, save a few favorites like Noah. The art pushes the envelope offering favorite characters in a new light. It is fantastic to see how a loved character can be so transformed, yet still so well recognized. Additionally, it is different than the retail locations because it is truly like a gallery. Here, it is all about the art and the artist. An artist in residence program means there is an artist on hand to chat with and learn about their process.. WonderGround even has local artisans and jewelers come in to sell their unique goods. It is a truly unique and art oriented experience. From having the honor of working on the team that was responsible for opening the location, I can tell you that the giving the guests greater and sometimes new connections to the art and the artists was the main goal.

So hopefully this tells you a little bit about what makes WonderGround different :)
